Your personal data shall be processed by Polityka Insight Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw (02-309), 6 Słupecka Street, KRS 0000754865 and European Council on Foreign Relations.

Participant’s data shall be processed:

• in order to organise the Warsaw European Conversation 2024 Conference, i.a. to enable Participant’s participation at the Conference (the basis for data processing is Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27th, 2016, hereinafter: GDPR, for the time necessary to organize and conduct the Conference or until consent is withdrawn, whichever occurs first;
• for pursuing out legitimate interests, on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of GDPR, for the purpose of:
• conducting promotion and marketing activities by Polityka Insight and European Council on Foreign Relations in form of preparing and publication of conference or post-conference materials containing the name, surname and company / institution or image of the Participant, provided that the Participant has consented to the publication of his personal data - until the Participant's consent is withdrawn or until an objection to such processing is expressed, depending on whichever event occurs first;
• establishing contact with the Participant in matters connecter with Conference’s organisation – for the time necessary to organize and conduct the Conference;
• securing claims connected with Conference’s organisation, including ensuring accountability of our activities (in relation to Article 5(2) of GDPR) – until limitation of such claims.

In the case of a person registering the Participant, other than the Participant, the data will be additionally processed in order to organize the Warsaw European Conversation 2024 Conference and ensure the accountability of our activities (in connection with Article 5(2) of GDPR), including documenting the registration and acceptance of the Participant's application (for pursuing out legitimate interests, on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of GDPR; the data shall be processed for the time necessary to organize and conduct the Conference, and for the period of limitation of claims related to the registration of Participant's participation).

We shall also process personal data included in the form for the purpose of conducting marketing activities of Polityka Insight and European Council on Foreign Relations, including sending via electronic mail commercial information or marketing materials of data controller (basis for such processing is Article 6(1)(f) of GDPR, so pursuing legitimate interest of the controller in the form of direct marketing of controller’s own products and services – however we need additional consent resulting from the provisions on e-privacy laws for realisation of the above-stated purpose for processing). Personal data shall be processed until an objection to such processing is expressed or until consents for receiving marketing materials via electronic channels are withdrawn, whichever occurs first.

Data subject is entitled to access their personal data, their rectification and to demand their erasure, limit their processing, object to their processing, data portability and to lodge a complaint with supervisory authority (President of Personal Data Protection Office) if a data subject thinks processing of such data is incompliant with generally applicable laws.

Providing us with personal data is necessary for completion of registration to participate in Warsaw European Conversation 2024 Conference.

Your data may be transferred to entities providing technical, IT, legal or accounting services to the controller and to partners of Warsaw European Conversation 2024 Conference.
