About the publication:
On the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the world is wondering how and under what conditions the war will end. Meanwhile, the Kremlin's war machine is not even close to slowing down. Russia is successfully replacing its lost equipment, allocating a record 41 per cent of its budget to security and continuing a profound reform of its armed forces. Its weak points are its human losses, the shortage of labour in the arms industry and corruption, but Russia has sufficient resources to wage an effective war.
The Kremlin invariably sees NATO as its greatest adversary, and the upcoming peace negotiations are an opportunity for the Russian authorities to reshape the global security architecture and strengthen Russia's position as a world empire. So, the intensive militarisation of society continues, supported by the indoctrination of young people and omnipresent propaganda.
We invite you to read the analysis by Anna Maria Dyner, which also includes conclusions and recommendations for NATO countries.
The report is also available in the Polish version.
